We explore the city through a comfortable combination of private transportation and manageable walks. This allows us to discover different parts of Rotterdam without turning the day into a rushed checklist or spending the entire experience on foot.

There is no rigid route. The experience is adapted to your interests, preferred pace, mobility and the conditions on the day, leaving room for conversation, photography and spontaneous stops along the way.

The Rotterdam Signature Tour does not follow one fixed route. Instead, the day develops around the subjects, places and stories that interest you most.

We may begin around Rotterdam Central Station and the Coolsingel, where the city’s reconstruction story becomes visible through its architecture, public spaces and surviving historic buildings.

From there, we could continue towards the Markthal, Cube Houses and Oude Haven before crossing the Maas River to Kop van Zuid, Katendrecht or the SS Rotterdam.

Historic Delfshaven, harbour viewpoints, street art, residential neighbourhoods and quieter local places can also become part of the experience, depending on your interests and the time available.

The route provides structure without feeling rigid. There is time to stop for photographs, ask questions, enjoy refreshments or spend longer somewhere that catches your attention.

For groups of four or more, the experience can be arranged with suitable private transport through our Private Group Experiences service.

Yes. The route, pace, walking distances and stops can be adapted around your interests, mobility, pickup location, weather and available time. You can request particular places or leave the planning entirely to Mark. The locations shown on this page are flexible examples rather than a fixed itinerary.

Different pickup and drop-off points can also be discussed when they fit the route. Please mention locations outside Rotterdam in your request so any additional travel time or costs can be considered.

The tour combines private transportation with manageable walks so you can experience different parts of Rotterdam comfortably. Walking distances can be adjusted around your preferences and mobility. Please mention any limitations when enquiring so the route can be planned appropriately.

The route can be adapted to the conditions on the day. Private transportation provides shelter between stops, and suitable indoor locations can be included where appropriate. Light rain normally does not prevent the tour from taking place.

No upfront payment is required for a standard booking. Payment is made after the tour by card or in cash in euros, unless another arrangement has been agreed in advance. Any optional tickets reserved for your tour will be added to the confirmed total.
