Yes. Standard tours are exclusively for your own party. You will not be combined with guests from another booking, allowing the route, pace and conversation to remain personal throughout the experience.

Yes. Every private experience has room for personalisation. The route, pace, walking distances and stops can be adapted around your interests, mobility, available time, pickup location, weather conditions and attraction opening hours. Some tours have included elements, but the day never needs to feel like a rigid checklist.

Tour duration depends on the experience selected. The Signature, Rotterdam & Schiedam, Rotterdam & Beyond and Rotterdam & Kinderdijk pages offer five-hour and eight-hour options. The Social Media Tour is designed as a shorter experience, while airport-transfer duration depends on the route and traffic conditions. Please check the relevant page for the current choices.

The inclusions depend on the experience:

• The 8-Hour Rotterdam Signature Tour includes lunch and admission to one selected attraction.
• The 8-Hour Rotterdam & Schiedam Private Tour includes lunch, admission to Museum Windmill De Walvisch and admission to the National Jenever Museum.
• The 8-Hour Rotterdam & Kinderdijk Private Tour includes lunch and the Kinderdijk visitor experience, with additional time to explore Rotterdam and the windmill landscape.
• The 8-Hour Rotterdam & Beyond journey includes lunch. Attraction tickets and activities depend on the selected destination and are confirmed in the final proposal.

Transportation is included in standard private tours unless the page or proposal clearly states otherwise. The precise vehicle may vary according to the route, availability, luggage and number of guests. Larger-group experiences can use executive vehicles, minibuses or coaches arranged through trusted transport partners.

Standard private tours are designed for a maximum of three guests travelling together. Larger families, groups of friends, companies, delegations and cruise parties can request a Private Group Experience with suitable transport, guides and practical arrangements.

You can submit the booking form on the relevant tour page or contact Mark directly through WhatsApp or email. A request is not treated as confirmed until the date, time, pickup location, tour option and other important details have been agreed.

Booking in advance is recommended, particularly during spring, summer, weekends and the cruise season. Short-notice enquiries are always welcome, and Mark will confirm whether your preferred date and time are still available.

Pickup and drop-off can normally be arranged at your hotel, the Rotterdam Cruise Terminal or another agreed location in Rotterdam. For journeys beyond the city, airport transfers or special group programmes, alternative pickup and drop-off arrangements can be discussed.

No upfront payment is required for standard private tours. Payment is made after the tour by card or cash in euros. Larger group experiences, external transport bookings and specially arranged programmes may have different payment terms, which will always be explained clearly in the proposal.

Please contact Mark as soon as possible if your plans change. Whenever possible, he will help find a practical alternative or new date. Any specific cancellation conditions connected to reserved tickets, restaurants, hired vehicles or external partners will be explained before the booking is confirmed.

Walking distances, pace and stops can often be adapted. Please share any mobility requirements before confirming the booking so Mark can prepare a comfortable and realistic route. Accessibility at museums, historic buildings, boats and other attractions may vary and can be checked in advance.

Comfortable walking shoes and clothing suited to the weather are recommended. You are welcome to bring a camera, phone, mobility aid or anything else that helps you enjoy the experience. Bottled water and soft drinks are provided during standard private tours.

Tours continue in most weather conditions. The route can be adjusted by changing the balance between driving, walking, sheltered locations and indoor visits. In severe or unsafe conditions, Mark will contact you to discuss the most sensible arrangement.

Yes. Private tours allow time for photographs and short spontaneous stops whenever the route and schedule permit. Guests who want photography or video creation to be the central focus should consider the Rotterdam Social Media Tour.

Mark personally guides in English and Dutch. For larger group experiences, additional professional guides may sometimes be arranged depending on the group and requested language.

Yes. Experiences can be created for families, groups of friends, companies, delegations, cruise passengers and special occasions. Depending on the group, Mark can coordinate executive vehicles, minibuses, coaches, additional guides, restaurants, museums, activities and practical timing. Larger groups receive a tailored proposal rather than a standard package price.

Yes. Private door-to-door airport transfers are available between Rotterdam and Rotterdam The Hague Airport, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and Eindhoven Airport.
