Rotterdam & Beyond is a private journey for guests who would like to combine Rotterdam with another Dutch destination during one thoughtfully planned day.

You may already have a place in mind, such as Delft, Gouda, Brielle, The Hague or the Dutch coast. You can also simply share what interests you, and I will suggest a route that works naturally within the time available.

Every journey is personally planned around your pickup location, preferred pace, mobility and the places you would most like to experience. Travel times, opening hours, parking and walking distances are considered before the day begins.

We travel by private vehicle and explore selected locations on foot. This creates a comfortable balance between seeing more of the region and having enough time to enjoy each destination.

The itinerary provides structure without feeling rigid. There is room for photographs, refreshments, conversation and places that catch your attention along the way.

The aim is not to fit as many places as possible into one day, but to create a route that feels personal, realistic and enjoyable from beginning to end.

Five hours works well for selected Rotterdam highlights combined with one nearby destination. Eight hours is recommended for broader routes, greater travel distances, longer visits, museums, activities or a more relaxed full-day pace.

Travel distance, parking costs, entrance tickets and requested activities vary between destinations. Mark will prepare a clear proposal and confirm the complete price before you decide to book.

Both journeys include private guidance by Mark, comfortable transportation, agreed pickup and drop-off, bottled water and soft drinks, a coffee stop, standard fuel and parking costs, and personal route planning. The eight-hour journey also includes a relaxed lunch.

Entrance tickets are not automatically included because each journey is different. Museums, attractions and activities can be added to your proposal, with the cost clearly shown before the tour is confirmed.

Pickup can normally be arranged from your Rotterdam hotel, the cruise terminal, a railway station or another agreed location. A different drop-off point may also be possible when it fits naturally with the planned route.

Yes. Pickup and return can be arranged at the Rotterdam Cruise Terminal, and the route will be planned carefully around your ship’s arrival and all-aboard time. A comfortable return margin will always be included.
